On Thursday, September 29, 2016, Mr. William Rayburn Pendergrass, who was 90 years old and originally from Murray, Kentucky, passed away at the NHC Health Care Centre in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was a resident of Kentucky.
Mr. Pendergrass was born in Graves County, Kentucky, to the late Novil and Pearl Pendergrass. His parents have now passed away. Since then, both of his parents have passed away. At the time of his passing, his sister, Josephine Barnhill, who was also a member of the Coldwater Church of Christ, both passed away. An additional person who passed away before him was his sister.
His wife, Freida Dell Pendergrass, his daughter, Anita Gail Wisehart (and her husband, Larry), of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, his sister, Wanda McGary (and her husband, Leon), of Paducah, his two grandchildren, Loren Wisehart (and his wife, Carrie), of Madison, Alabama, and Celena Marshall, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and his six great-grandchildren, Daniel Wisehart, Alison Wisehart, Hannah Wisehart, Joshua Wisehart, Abigail Marshall, and Elizabeth Marshall, are among those who bear his legacy.
The funeral service will be held at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., and Bob Haley will serve as the officiant for the ceremony.
The funeral ceremony will be followed by the burial, which will take place at the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery once the service has concluded. At the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home on Saturday, after noon, friends and family are invited to offer their condolences to the family. The funeral home is located in Bradford.
