Sheila Bettinger Obituary, Sheila Bettinger Has Passed Away – Death

The passing of Mark A. Spooner, age 69, who resided on Pine Street in Keeseville, took place on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH, located in Plattsburgh. Alongside him was his devoted family.

His parents, Donald and Harriet (Smith) Spooner, welcomed him into the world on April 5, 1954, in the city of Plattsburgh. Additionally, he attended Clinton Community College and received an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He was born and raised in Keeseville.

From 1971 until 1974, Mark was a member of the United States Army, where he served until he was discharged with honour. The wedding took place on May 15, 1976, at Saint Ann Church in Waterbury, Connecticut, and the bride was formerly known as Janelle LaBounty.

His career as a delivery truck driver spanned a significant amount of time. In addition to that, he spent fifteen years working at Imperial Wallcoverings. The business of dealing in antiques and collectibles was Mark’s passion, and he made a lot of acquaintances along the way.

Left to cherish the memory of Mark are, his wife of 46 years, Janelle “Jan” Spooner; children, Heather (Rich) Pelkey, and Sarah (Rob) Sturgis; sister, Bonnie (Ted) Lasher; brothers, Craig Spooner, and Matthew (Stephanie) Spooner; sisters-in-law, Sheila Bettinger, Debbie Blaise, and Kerry (Margie Pierce) LaBounty; brothers-in-law, Kirby (Oksana) LaBounty, and Steve (Jan) LaBounty; six grandchildren, Ashlyn Pelkey, Brayden Pelkey, Kariana Pelkey, Ivy Sturgis, Isabella Sturgis, and Savannah Sturgis; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. His parents and his siblings, Diane and William, passed away before him. He was also predeceased by his brothers.
