Judith Watlov Boblett, Joanne Until the 17th of December in 2023, January 17, 1956 Joanne Watlov Boblett, who was 67 years old, went away in the comfort of her own home after a valiant fight against fallopian tube cancer that lasted for eleven years. Throughout this journey, Joanne was led by her immensely strong trust in the Lord, which allowed her to live without fear of death since she knew that she would be with Him when she passed away. Joanne Watlov was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 17, 1956 to her parents, Reuben and Gladys Watlov. She chose to spend her childhood in Fridley, Minnesota. After completing her high school education at Fridley High School, she went on to earn her teaching degree from Bethel College in St. Paul. In both high school and college, she excelled in a number of sports and was a standout athlete.
As a woman who possesses a wide range of skills, Joanne has achieved success in a variety of fields, including teaching, singing, computer programming, social services administration, coaching volleyball, and publishing newspapers for the past 19 years and more. Her life was full of exciting experiences, such as travelling around the western United States and Canada as a vocalist in the band where she met her future husband. She also spent a period of six months singing in the Northwest Territories, which is located close to the North Pole.
During the most of the 1980s, Joanne resided in the Boston region and had a significant role in the development of one of the first real-time online commercial telecommunications networks anywhere in the world. After moving to the Twin Cities in 1989, Joanne and Paul tied the knot and began their lives together. Three of the couple’s children were born in the years 1991, 1993, and 1995 respectively. During this time period, Joanne worked for her sister, Sue, as a grant writer and administrator for Elim Transitional accommodation.
In this capacity, she assisted families, individuals, and young people who were experiencing homelessness in moving into their own accommodation.
The family relocated to Outing, Minnesota, in 2002, and it was there that she and Paul established the Northland Press weekly newspaper in 2005.
The love that Joanne had for the Lord, her children, her husband, her family, and her friends, as well as the time that she spent with them on Lake Washburn, was the thing that brought her tremendous happiness.
Her husband, Paul, her children Faith and Kendra, her son Trevor (who is married to Jenny), her granddaughter Hazel Jo, her siblings Rob Watlov (who is married to Jo Ellen), Diane Collins, and Sue Watlov Phillips, and a large number of cousins, nieces, and nephews are among those who survive Joanne.
Her grandparents and her parents, Reuben and Gladys Watlov, passed away before her did. her was the last surviving daughter.
