On January 7, 2024, at the age of 91, Mr. John A. Borntrager peacefully departed this world, surrounded by the warmth of his family, at Temperance Lake Ridge in Sherburn, MN. His life, marked by love, laughter, and countless cherished moments, will be celebrated in a fitting tribute. A Celebration of Life service for John will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday.
January 13, 2024, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont (Trimont United Methodist Church, 111 Apple Street East, Trimont, MN). The service will be officiated by Chuck Rudolph.
Friends and well-wishers are invited to pay their respects during the visitation hours from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2024, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center, as well as one hour prior to John’s Celebration of Life on Saturday.
In honor of John’s memory, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. This reflects John’s enduring compassion and desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Burial services will be held at a later date at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Fairmont, MN, providing a final resting place for John.
