Harriet was born to Harry Green Harris and Lucille Swift Schlosser, and she grew up surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Rubel Harrison, her sister Suellen Meara, and her parents.
Harriet’s legacy lives on through her children, Jennifer Brown (Paul), Max Harrison, and Sara Harrison. She was a devoted and caring mother, always there to offer support, guidance, and unconditional love. Harriet’s family meant the world to her, and her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe.
Her grandchildren, Harrison Brown, Kate Harrison, Caleb Harrison, Cassidy Harrison, and Jake Brown, held a special place in her heart. Harriet delighted in the joy they brought to her life, cherishing every moment spent with them. She leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories, filled with laughter, love, and shared experiences. Harriet will also be missed by her nieces and nephews, Lisa Hirsch Arrington, Tracy Hirsch Geller, Julie Harrison Kniptash, Stacy Harrison Isaacs, Ryan Tabereaux, Jordan Tabereaux, Lauren Tabereaux Ayres, Shelley Harrison, Joel Harrison, and Alex Harrison. She played a significant role in their lives, offering guidance and love as an aunt and mentor.
A woman of many qualities, Harriet was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering compassion. Her warm smile could light up a room, and her positive energy was infectious. Harriet had a zest for life and a genuine interest in the well-being of others.
