On June 28th, 1936, Albert was born in Howard County, Indiana. This was the location of his birth. Collecting hats was one of the most fun activities that he did in his spare time. Following his retirement from Square D, Albert… He devoted his life to farming and music as his primary occupations.
His wife, Margaret Hendrix, his children Ricky (Peggy) Hendrix of Peru, Indiana, Geno (Greg) Hendrix of Wisconsin, and James (Cindy) Hendrix of Arizona, his grandchildren Terry E. Hendrix, Jacob D. Hendrix, Justin S. Friend, Billy R. (Yolanda) Friend, Michael Hendrix, and Beth Ann Hendrix, and his two sisters, Doris Regan of Logansport and Nancy Rentschler and Nancy Rentschler of Missouri, are among the survivors.
Two of his children, Danny L. Hendrix and Kathy L. Blakely, as well as his brother, George E. Hendrix, had already passed away prior to his passing.
In addition to those who came before him in death, his parents, Albert M. and Edith M. Hendrix, were also among those who passed away. The Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, which can be found in Peru at 105 West Third Street, will serve as the venue for the visitation that will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, between the hours of 10 am and 12 pm.
It is scheduled that the funeral service will take place at twelve o’clock. The burial is planned to take place at the Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery, which is the location of the cemetery.
For the purpose of assisting in the reduction of the expenses that are associated with the funeral, we request that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home rather than sending flowers.
