he Granville In the house he shared with his family in New Boston, Texas, Carl Grubbs died away on Thursday, February 4, 2021. He aged to 68. The 21st of November, 1952 found Granville being brought into the world in Logan, West Virginia by his parents, Archie Odell Grubbs and Faithrene Ailishire. In addition to being a member of The Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God Church in New Boston, he had achieved retirement from the Texarkana, Texas Fire Department.
He had also worked as a truck driver. Granville served in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the service. His parents and one sister, Carolyn Ailishire, passed away before him. He was survived by one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Grubbs of New Boston, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Melissa and Jerry Wilson of Princeton, Texas and Elisabeth Gallagher of Texarkana, Texas; three sons and one daughter-in-law,
Carl Grubbs of Rochester, Indiana, Jack and Farrah Grubbs of Bloomington, Illinois, and Travis Grubbs of Akron, Indiana; two stepsons and their wives, Ronnie and Mechele Scott of Tyler, Texas and James and Jaunita Gilliam of New Boston, Texas; one sister, Patty Baldwin of Switzer, West Virginia; seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
On Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at one o’clock in the afternoon, graveside services will be held in Liberty Hill Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas, while Bro. Matt Neese will preside over the ceremony.
