His life was a testament to dedication, love, and community spirit, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know him. C.B., as he was affectionately known, was a true son of Dodge County, having been born and raised in the close-knit Gresston community.

A graduate of Dodge County High School, he went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy as a boilerman. Upon returning home, C.B. embarked on a career in construction, specializing in masonry, where his skills would shape the physical landscape of the community he cherished.
