Michael Lalonde passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the age of seventy, with his devoted family by his side. It is with great sadness that we share the news of his departure. He has been the cherished spouse of Patricia “Pat” (née Quick) for the past 37 years.
cherished by his children Richard (and his wife Alice), Rochelle, Donna (and her husband Jeremy), and Danielle (and her husband Jerrison).
His grandchildren including Avery (Sanjit), Nathaniel, Mason, Cody, Madison, Myles, and Drake all hold him in high esteem. His parents, Bernard and Dorothy, as well as his brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Hazel, passed away before him.
Respected brother-in-law of Barbara (Jayson 2019) and Arthur (Nadeline), who are both married. Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends will grievously miss him. He had a large number of relatives. His closest friend, Norm, will also miss him terribly.
He will be greatly missed. Up to the time of his retirement at the age of 56, Mike did his job at GM Transmission with complete dedication.
It was very enjoyable for him to spend time with Pat in their caravan, where they had a lot of fun together. He was a passionate carpenter, and he enjoyed taking train journeys to both the west and east coasts. Mike will be remembered most for his calm and compassionate demeanour, as well as his willingness to provide a helping hand whenever it was needed.
Each and every one of the hospice physicians, nurses, staff members, and volunteers who went above and beyond to ensure that Mike’s final weeks were as serene and soothing as possible for him and his family would like to express their gratitude to us.
