Barrow Hill mourns the loss of one of its brightest stars, Jordan Smitheman, whose radiant spirit touched the lives of many. Jordan, a beloved member of the community, passed away at the young age of 25, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished for years to come.
His unexpected departure has left friends, family, and acquaintances reeling in shock and grappling with an immeasurable sense of loss. As the community comes together to honor his memory, Jordan’s funeral will be held on Friday, 26th January, at 1:10 pm at the Chesterfield Crematorium. It will be a time to celebrate his life, recount the cherished moments shared, and pay tribute to a life that impacted so many in such profound ways.
In recognition of Jordan’s own battles and in an effort to continue his spirit of giving, the family has requested that donations be made in lieu of flowers. All contributions will benefit Asthma & Lung UK, a cause close to Jordan’s heart. His struggles with asthma made him resilient, and his commitment to raising awareness about respiratory health was unwavering.
