Today, the community mourns the loss of a beloved figure, Frank Goodwyn, a long-time cast member and local attorney, whose contributions to Higher Ground Productions and the community at large were immeasurable.
Frank, a dedicated family man, supported not only his wife Sandra but also his son Andrew Saylor’s involvement in Higher Ground. A familiar face on the Higher Ground stage, Frank’s talent and passion for theater enriched numerous productions over the years.
His commitment extended beyond acting, as he generously served as the landlord for the Kudzu Killers rehearsal studio, providing a space for creativity and collaboration to flourish.
In addition to his artistic endeavors, Frank was a strong supporter of the Rotary Club, embodying the spirit of community service. His involvement in various Rotary initiatives showcased his dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
As we bid farewell to Frank Goodwyn, our hearts go out to his grieving family. The loss of Frank, coupled with another family tragedy this weekend, leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him.
May his legacy endure through the memories created on the stage, the impact on the community, and the love he shared with his family. Frank Goodwyn, we remember you, and your spirit will forever resonate within the walls of Higher Ground Productions.
