FL: Sean Peter O’Hearn, 59, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2023, Christmas Eve, from a ruptured aortic aneurysm. Sean was a theatre arts major and the stage is where he thrived in numerous plays and productions.
His roles ranged from The Music Man, a side dancer for Provincetown drag queen “Jimmy James,” to Miss Drag Queen Seattle, a.k.a. Babilicious. He sang in the Dartmouth Gospel Choir and the Yankee Male Choir.
He also attended the Eugene O’Neill National Theatre Institute in Connecticut and later the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre in Florida. Sean loved to sing, dance and perform — the perfect avenue for his enthusiasm, flair, drama and expressions to be on full display.
Sean would proceed to explore opportunities in the world of theater during his many years in New York City and Los Angeles. Whenever Sean had an audience, he loved to perform, including telling vivid, passionate stories to his family and friends.
Sean loved animals, especially his kittens, his LGBTQ+ community, travel, music, dance, reading, his Irish heritage and, of course, the songs and productions of the world of movies and theater.
He consistently remembered the birthdays and anniversaries of others, even his favorite Hollywood celebrities. Social media was a whole new avenue for him! To all of Sean’s extended family and friends, we hope you remember Sean when you take a walk on the beach, appreciate a great movie, attend a play, listen to a meaningful song, love an animal, celebrate diversity, and embrace shared moments with people you love.”
Please be respectful. Sadly, his trust in the wrong news networks cost him his life.
