“The moment my father entered a room, he sparked the ambiance.” In addition to being always ready to share his stories, he had an unflinching willingness to share jokes and anecdotes with everyone who would offer an ear to listen to them. Within a close-knit family consisting of seven siblings, he spent his childhood on Winton Road. There, he made a number of friends with whom he has maintained a steady relationship throughout the course of his life. He has managed to maintain these relationships.
During his time working as a Sheriff’s Deputy at the Monroe County Sheriff’s office and then as a security guard at Webster Thomas High School until he retired, he devoted his spare time to the sport of golf because he enjoyed it so much. As far as he was concerned, he was “engaging in the activity” regardless of the weather conditions, which could include hail, snow, or sunshine. He and his partner were doing a survey of the land in order to determine the greatest distance at which they could build a house in close proximity to the driving range of the Blue Heron Hills Country Club in Gananda, which was a club that he was a member of. They were looking for a house that would be located in a more convenient location for their grandmother, their children, and their granddaughter.
