Paul Robbins, a 75-year-old resident of Lincoln, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at his home. George and Eva (Krucig) Robbins became parents for the first time on August 22, 1948, in the capital city of St. Louis, Missouri.
They celebrated the birth of their son, Paul. He married Lois Ware on April 23, 1968, in Lincoln, Illinois. The event occurred in the United States. Aul is survived by his wife.
Lois, as well as his children: David (Sandy) Robbins, Diane (Jay) Garman, Chris Robbins, and Erin (Chad) Tungate. He is also survived by his siblings: Nancy (Paul) Leo, Hallie Johnston, Tony (Nancy) Robbins, Larry Robbins, John (Susan) Robbins, Margaret Robbins Hufnagel, Mike (Linda) Robbins, Ruth Hunt, and Steve (Dede) Robbins. Additionally, he leaves behind a significant number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Prior to his own demise, both Mary Schreiber, his sister, and George Robbins, his brother, had already perished.
His parents were also deceased. Paul dedicated his entire working life, spanning forty-five years, to his employment at the Bottle Factory in Lincoln. He has a fervent enthusiasm for fishing as a recreational pursuit. Paul’s presence was exclusively dedicated to attending athletic activities for his grandchildren, making it quite difficult to find him otherwise.
He ensured his presence at every game in which his grandchildren took part. The commemorative service for Paul will take place at the Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
