Mohsen (Mike) Rasouli, who passed away unexpectedly on New Year’s Day as a consequence of a fire that took place at his home in Meadowbank, was the recipient of a letter of condolence from our community. There was a chorus of people who communicated their feelings, and we contributed our voices to that chorus. During the time that we came together as a community to offer our condolences to one another, it was a sad time. Every single member of the community, regardless of whether or not they knew Mike personally, is united in their sadness, and I join them in offering my sincerest sympathy to his family from the bottom of my heart. I am very sorry for the loss of Mike. It is my deepest condolences for your loss.
Throughout the course of today, one of his friends shared with me information about Mike’s generous and hardworking demeanour, as well as the manner in which the Iranian-Australian community in the region has come together to help his family during this challenging time. Mike’s family in particular has been going through a lot of hardships recently.
The circumstances that Mike’s family is going through right now are a predicament that is quite challenging.
In light of the fact that Jerome Laxale, a member of parliament, is in charge of coordinating the delivery of the book to the Rasouli family within the context of the burial ceremony, I would like to take this occasion to express my deepest gratitude to him.
