Aniyah Knox Obituary, Learn More About Aniyah Knox – Death

Crisfield, MD – The tight-knit community of Crisfield is reeling from the sudden and tragic loss of Aniyah Washington Knox, a 13-year-old student at Crisfield High School. Aniyah passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2023, leaving behind a grieving family, friends, and a community in shock. Aniyah, the oldest of four children, was not only a bright student but also a beloved member of the Crabber family.

Her untimely departure has left a void that will be felt by all who knew her. In an effort to support the Knox family during this challenging time, the community has rallied together, calling for both emotional and financial assistance. The Knox family has set up a GoFundMe page to help alleviate the financial burden they now face. Monetary donations are being graciously accepted, and any contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on easing the family’s struggles. The GoFundMe page can be accessed at https://gofund.me/187a9ffd.

In addition to financial support, the community is urged to continue offering prayers and thoughts for the Knox family. The power of collective positive energy and support can provide a source of strength for them as they navigate through this heartbreaking time.

Crisfield High School, along with schools across the county, is organizing a special event to honor Aniyah’s memory. On Monday, January 8th, a ‘Casual Day for a Cause’ will take place, with students and staff encouraged to wear pink in remembrance of Aniyah.

This initiative not only pays tribute to Aniyah but also serves as a way for the community to come together and show their support for the grieving family.

The ‘Casual Day for a Cause’ is an opportunity for students and staff to express their solidarity, love, and compassion. It is a small but meaningful gesture to remember Aniyah and help her family feel the warmth of the community’s embrace during these dark times.
