Born in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1943, Bob’s life journey took him through various roles, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Bob succumbed to prostate cancer, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Marguerite “Margo” Howlett, brother Jim Howlett, and their three children: Kristi Riggs, Mark Howlett, and Scott Howlett. The Howlett family extends to include ten grandchildren, a testament to the love and joy Bob shared throughout his life.
A proud Army Reserve radio operator for six years and a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, Bob dedicated 37 years of his life as an educator with the Arcadia Unified School District. His impact on the lives of countless students and colleagues resonates through the years, reflecting his passion for education and commitment to shaping young minds.
