On December 21st, 2023, the world bid farewell to a beloved member of the community, Kathleen Hardy, affectionately known as Kath. With heavy hearts, friends and family will come together to celebrate her life and cherish the memories she left behind.
Kath peacefully passed away at home, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Her funeral will take place on January 18th at 10:30 am at St Helens Catholic Church.
Following the ceremony, the cortège will proceed to Kirk Balk cemetery and later gather at the Furnace Pub on Milton Road for food and drinks, a fitting tribute to Kath’s warm and welcoming spirit.
The cortège will commence from 155 Cloughfields Road at 10:10 am, inviting everyone who knew Kath to join in honoring her memory. This inclusive gesture reflects the impact she had on the lives of many, emphasizing the sense of community she cultivated throughout her lifetime.
