Helen Crawford Obituary, A Life Well-Lived

On December 29th, Helen Crawford peacefully passed away in her sleep, just six weeks shy of her 101st birthday. She was the beloved wife of Jack Crawford, who preceded her in death.

Helen is survived by her loving children, Mark Crawford and Tracy Crawford Hamilton, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Robin and Alexander Hamilton. Helen’s remarkable life was adorned with numerous accomplishments and roles.

A proud Pomona College alumna, she dedicated her early years to serving as a WWII Navy veteran. Helen later became a Child Psychologist, leaving a lasting impact on countless young lives. Her passion for education extended to her role as a dedicated teacher, where she inspired and shaped the minds of many.

However, Helen was perhaps best known for her enchanting Covina Tulip Garden, a testament to her love for nature and beauty. Her garden became a source of joy for the community and a symbol of her nurturing spirit.

Beyond her professional and botanical pursuits, Helen was a loyal friend to many, offering kindness and support to those fortunate enough to know her. In accordance with her wishes, no formal services will be held to remember this extraordinary woman.

As we reflect on Helen Crawford’s life, we celebrate a legacy of resilience, kindness, and passion that will continue to inspire generations to come. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the vibrant tulips she so adored.
