Alexander Galvez Obituary, Tragedy Strikes Mohave Valley As Three Lives Lost In Devastating House Fire

In a heartbreaking incident on December 10, tragedy befell the tight-knit community of Mohave Valley as a house fire claimed the lives of three individuals.

Officials have now released the names of the victims: Alexander Galvez, 54; Janell Norris, 53; and the particularly poignant case of Meryia Loftin, 20, who was pregnant at the time of the fire. Deputies responded to the emergency call around 2 a.m., rushing to the scene in the 2100 block of Lone Star Drive in Mohave Valley.

Upon arrival, they were met with a horrifying sight as the residence was found to be fully engulfed in flames, with a neighboring house also catching fire. Fire personnel swiftly joined the effort to extinguish the inferno, but sadly, they were unable to save the lives of the three victims.

The loss is not only a blow to the immediate families but also reverberates through the entire community.

According to investigators, a 20-year-old male, whose identity remains undisclosed, managed to escape the blaze and was later located by authorities. He informed them that his fiancee and parents were still trapped inside the engulfed home.

As the community mourns the untimely demise of Alexander Galvez, Janell Norris, and the pregnant Meryia Loftin, questions linger about the circumstances leading to the tragic incident. The investigation is ongoing, and the community awaits answers in the wake of this devastating event.
