Beau Dagenais Obituary, A Life Well-Remembered

It is with hearts heavy with grief that we share the heartbreaking news of Beau’s sudden passing on December 31. To those who knew Beau, it was to know a man who loved profoundly, whose biggest joy and pride were the family he built with his wife of fourteen years, Ashley Dagenais.

Beau’s untimely departure has left a void that can never be filled, but his legacy of love and devotion will forever linger in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Beau’s world revolved around the beautiful family he and Ashley created, with his children, Owen (age 10) and Penelope, affectionately known as “Penny” (age 7), being the shining lights in his life. Their days were filled with stories, songs, and sports, as Beau embraced every aspect of parenthood with boundless enthusiasm.

From My Little Pony to the B&O Railroad, Beau became an expert in whatever his children loved, sharing his passions with them, especially his deep love for the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

As a dedicated son, Beau held a special place in his heart for his mom, Sue Dagenais, and dad, Andre Dagenais. Raised with a profound love for learning and family, Beau carried these values into his own life, evident in his strong connection with his children and his commitment to teaching the young men of Boys’ Latin School of Maryland. Beau’s impact extended beyond the walls of his home and classroom; it reached into the hearts of everyone who crossed his path.

His Celebration of Life, to be held on Saturday, January 6, at Boys’ Latin School, is an opportunity for friends, family, and colleagues to come together and honor the life of a man who touched so many. The service will take place at The Gelston Athletic Center at 10 AM, followed by a time of food and fellowship from 11 AM to 12:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Beau Dagenais Scholarship Fund at The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland. To donate online, visit https://www.boyslatinmd.com/giving/make-a-gift and specify “The Beau Dagenais Scholarship” under “Designation.”

Beau’s family and friends express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support received during this challenging time. In memory of Beau, they invite everyone to share their fond memories and stories on this platform. Your words of comfort and shared experiences will undoubtedly bring solace to those grieving the loss of a beloved husband, father, son, and teacher.

In commemorating Beau Dagenais, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, family, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. May his memory be a source of inspiration and comfort to all who mourn his passing.
