In his 91st year, Bill Knisley leaves behind a legacy of love and family that spans generations. His 65-year journey as the beloved husband of Irene Knisley (nee Armstrong) is a testament to enduring love, commitment, and the strength of a partnership built on shared joys and trials.Bill was not only a loving husband but a cherished father to Martin (Marsha), David (Karen), and Sharon (Brian).
His role as grandpa/papa extended to Sean (Liz), Katelyn, Connor (Katarina), Madeline (Brett), Larkin (Derek), Silken (Jake), Jessica, and Lauren (Chuck). Through his devotion, Bill cultivated a family rich in love and unity.Bill’s roots were deeply connected to the late William and Reta Knisley, and he was one of nine children. Private interment at Mansfield Presbyterian Cemetery will provide a peaceful resting place for Bill, connecting him with his roots and the community he cherished. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations to Mansfield Presbyterian Cemetery or Matthews House Hospice. These donations will serve as lasting tributes to the places that held significance in Bill’s life, showcasing the gratitude and support of those who wish to honor his memory.
