Bess began her remarkable journey on July 10, 1998, in the Ha Tinh Province of Vietnam. Her path led her to the United States, where she became a graduate of JM Robinson High School in Concord, NC, and later earned her degree from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. Bess was not only a member of the Zeta Eta chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at Wofford College but also showcased her passion for dance as a member of the Wofford College Dance Team and Miss Donna’s School of Dance.
Professionally, Bess made significant contributions as a valued member of the American Red Cross, where she served on the Production Support team for nearly three years as an Analyst II in IT Business Systems. Her colleagues remember her as a true team player and someone always willing to lend a helping hand.
Bess’s life was a testament to her creativity, humor, and intelligence. She cared deeply for others and demonstrated her loyalty as a fierce friend, an exceptional daughter, sister, aunt, and granddaughter. Known for her love of family, friends, dance, music, and travel, Bess embraced life to the fullest. In her 25 years, she had already explored England and Paris and was eagerly planning a trip to Korea in the coming spring.
As we bid farewell to Bess, we remember the vibrant energy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
