He is survived by his parents, Frank and Ann Devlin; his sister Alissa Devlin and her husband Michael Cammarata; his sister Bethaney Devlin; his brother Michael Devlin and his wife Aimee; maternal grandmother Emily Salamone; nieces and nephews Jacob, Zachary, Salvatore, Madeline, Francesca, and Alexander; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He spent many hours tending to the various fruits, vegetables and plants he cultivated in his home garden and was always eager to share tips with family and friends. Eric loved comedy and movies of all kinds, and on-line gaming with friends.
He was an extremely dependable, conscientious and thoughtful person with a scientific mind that he would frequently utilize to improve the way things functioned.
He will be most remembered for his kindness, intelligence, sense of humor, and his ability to drop in a movie quote or original one-liner to bring levity to any situation.
