William Bill Obituary, Honouring The Legacy Of William Bill

In the wake of the passing of William “Bill” H., friends, and family are invited to pay tribute to his life and legacy. A man who fought a good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith, Bill’s impact on the community was profound. As we come together to remember him, we also have the opportunity to honor his memory by supporting causes that were dear to his heart. In lieu of flowers, Bill requested that donations be directed to the Clay County SD Rodeo Grounds (care of Clay County Park Board) or to Heartland Humane Society in Yankton, SD.

These choices reflect Bill’s passion for his community and his love for animals, especially his dogs and Benson, his therapy cat. The Clay County SD Rodeo Grounds, overseen by the Clay County Park Board, held a special place in Bill’s heart.

By contributing to this cause, friends and well-wishers have the chance to enhance the facilities that brought joy and entertainment to the community. It is a fitting way to pay tribute to Bill’s love for his local area. Similarly, supporting the Heartland Humane Society in Yankton, SD, honors Bill’s affection for animals, including his beloved dogs and therapy cat Benson.

By directing contributions to this organization, we continue the legacy of care and compassion that Bill extended to his furry friends. Due to COVID exposure, the funeral dates have been postponed to January 4th and 5th.

In these challenging times, as we navigate the uncertainties of the pandemic, the postponement serves as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of all attendees. As we reflect on Bill’s life, let us heed the call to support these meaningful causes. In doing so, we not only honor his memory but also contribute to the betterment of the community and the welfare of animals, perpetuating the values that Bill held dear.
