Julie Jensen Obituary, Upsala MN Resident “Julie Jensen” Has Passed Away

On October 13, 1990, fate brought Julie into the life of Eric Jensen, her soulmate and partner for 32 years. Their love story unfolded in St. Cloud, and on May 25, 1991, they exchanged vows at Sacred Heart Parish in Baudette, Minnesota.

Julie and Eric embarked on a shared journey that would bring the joy of nine children into their lives: Andrew (32), Maria (29) (Connor Nilson), Joseph (26), Magdalen (24), Marta (22), Katerina (20), James (17), Jack (15), and Anika (12). Julie’s role as a mother became the central theme of her life, and her love for her children knew no bounds.

Through joys and challenges, Julie and Eric built a life rooted in faith, love, and an unbreakable bond. Julie’s steadfast support and unwavering commitment to her family became the cornerstone of their home. Her legacy as a devoted wife and nurturing mother will continue to resonate through the lives of her husband, children, and generations to come. As Julie faced the diagnosis of breast cancer, her strength and resilience shone brightly.

Over the course of two years, she fought valiantly, surrounded by the unwavering support of her family. Julie’s journey was marked not only by the physical battle against the disease but also by the spiritual and emotional fortitude that defined her character.

In honoring Julie’s memory, a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Jeremy Theis will officiate, with Rev. Andrew Dudzinski concelebrating. The interment will follow at St. Alexius Cemetery in West Union.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rosary prayed at 10:30 a.m. This time of gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together, offering solace and sharing cherished memories of a life well-lived.

Julie’s legacy extends beyond the grief of her departure, embracing the joy of shared laughter, the warmth of comforting hugs, and the enduring bond of a family united by love. In her honor, let the memories of Julie Ann (Jasken) Jensen be a source of inspiration—a reminder of the strength that resides in the human spirit when fueled by love.

May Julie’s soul find eternal peace, her memory forever cherished in the hearts of those who were privileged to share in the beautiful tapestry of her life.
