Werket Arnhild Bekkevoll’s life journey was one marked by love, resilience, and a deep connection to family. She touched the lives of many in Hastings, Sun City West, Minneapolis, and Rena, Norway, leaving behind a trail of cherished memories.
Survived by her devoted sons, John A. Werket (Jacqueline) and Jim Werket (Carol), Werket Arnhild Bekkevoll’s nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Sarah, Brianna, Neil, and Eric, as well as her four great-grandchildren.
Her legacy lives on in the love and warmth she shared with each member of her family, creating a tapestry of familial bonds that will endure through generations. Werket Arnhild Bekkevoll’s life was shaped by the love and partnership she shared with her late husband, John R. Werket. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared moments that have become treasured memories for their family.
Preceded in death by her husband, John R. Werket, as well as her parents Alf and Margit Bekkevoll, and siblings Magne Bekkevoll and Synove Andersen, Werket Arnhild Bekkevoll’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Yet, in the midst of sorrow, there is a recognition of the full and rich life she led, surrounded by the love of family and friends.
To honor and celebrate Werket Arnhild Bekkevoll’s life, a Life Celebration will be held this spring at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. This gathering will provide an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together, share stories, and pay tribute to a woman whose impact was felt far and wide.
