We are all filled with grief over the passing of Ryan Minor, a former Shorebirds coach and player whose career left an indelible mark on our community. His legacy had a significant influence on our organization. During this moment, our hearts are filled with an enormous feeling of grief, and we are offering our condolences to the family.
Ryan’s unrelenting commitment and the fact that he has been providing services to the Shorebirds for a lengthy amount of time have both contributed to the everlasting impact that he has left on the community of Delmarva.
The remarkable amount of time that he spent with the Shorebirds, both as a player and as a coach, earned him the honor of being the first person in the history of the team to have his number retired. He was also the first person to ever have his number retired.
As a consequence of this, he was able to acquire a prestigious position in the annals of the Shorebirds’ history. The influence of Ryan stretched far beyond the bounds of the playing field, and it had an effect on the lives of a substantial number of people in our community. Ryan’s influence included a significant number of people.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched via his generosity, mentoring, and dedication at this trying time. We are thinking of and praying for all others. We are keeping each and every one of them in our thoughts and prayers. We very apologize that you are experiencing the difficulties that you are. Please accept our deepest condolences.
We are going to feel the emptiness that his passing has left in our lives very intensely, and we are going to carry his memories close to our hearts for the rest of our lives. When he passed away, it created a void in our lives. I would like you to know that every single one of us is going to miss you tremendously, Ryan.
