An accident that took place on Thursday evening resulted in the unfortunate death of a lady, and the Pickens County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identify of the deceased woman. At around 9:45 p.m., the incident occurred on South Carolina Highway 183 close to Albatross Road, which is located outside of Easley.
According to accounts from troopers who were present at the scene, the incident featured a moped from the year 2024 that was rear-ended by a vehicle from the year 2005 that was a Ford F-150. This caused the moped to flip over in the left lane of traffic heading north.
The authorities have verified that the driver of the moped received injuries as a result of the collision, and they moved him or her to a hospital as soon as possible for medical care.
Regrettably, at the time of the crash, the rear passenger, who was identified as Kerry Hamilton from Easley, had injuries that ultimately proved to be deadly. Alexander Hamilton was declared dead at the site of the collision, and Chief Deputy Coroner Andrew Wilson verified that Hamilton was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
