On December 21, 2023, peace embraced the home of 4 Meadowvale, Portrush, as Mrs. Sandra Taggart, nee Fisher, bid farewell to this world, passing away peacefully. Sandra was the cherished wife of the late Desmond, affectionately known as Desi.
She was a dear mother to Richard, a loving mother-in-law to Lucinda, a devoted grandmother to Natasha, Demi, and Terri, and a proud great-grandmother to Shyia, Ollie, Kyron, Archie, Phoenix, Xyla, Zaiyn-Lee, Theo, Bradai, and Blaiden.
A service to honor and celebrate Sandra’s life will be held at Murdock’s Funeral Home, 2a Windsor Avenue, Coleraine, on Sunday at 11:00 am. Following the service, a quiet interment will take place in Ballywillan Cemetery.
The family kindly requests that the house remains private during this time. In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests donations be made to the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, a cause close to Sandra’s heart. Contributions can be sent to Mrs. Mona Murdock at 31 Bushmills Road, Coleraine.
The entire family circle, along with Sandra’s loving family, deeply regrets her passing. As they gather to remember her life, they find solace in the familiar words, “The Lord’s My Shepherd,” recognizing the enduring presence of faith and love that Sandra leaves behind.
May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort and strength to all who knew and loved her.
