Our good buddy Nelson “Duke” Edwards has passed away, and we are startled and heartbroken to tell you this news. Making this announcement is difficult for us. We will never get over the void that Duke’s death created. Both the people who were fortunate enough to call him a friend and the members of our church, where he was an integral part of the community until he passed away, are grieving his loss.
Duke was more than just a buddy; he brought joy, laughter, and inspiration to everyone he met. Because of his infectious smile and kind personality, he touched the lives of countless individuals, creating unforgettable memories that will last forever in our hearts. Duke was an anchor for our spiritual family and an inspiration to all who knew him thanks to his unwavering faith and unfailing devotion to our church. In all that he did, his steadfast faith and dedication to our church shone through.
Because we grieve the loss of Duke, we find solace in the thought that he has found eternal rest and is now riding high on golden streets. He has entered a realm devoid of sorrow and suffering, where joy knows no bounds. His journey beyond will end here.
