It is with deep regret that we must notify you that Buffy Bonwell died away suddenly. To do so is something that we do with a heavy heart. Over the course of Flechyr Bonwell’s childhood, Buffy was the adored mother of her kid. Flechyr Bonwell is currently a member of our Charleston Chiefs.
Flechyr, his sister Zoey, and his father Rob are in our thoughts and prayers during this terribly difficult time. Please accept our sincere condolences and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Our prayers and thoughts are with each and every one of you. The Charleston Amateur Hockey Association would like to use this opportunity to convey our profound affection and unwavering support to the Bonwell family.
The fact that Buffy was Flechyr’s most passionate supporter, in addition to being a dedicated mother, wife, sister, and friend, was not sufficient for her to just observe.
Due to the fact that she was a beloved member of our community, our friends and neighbors will miss her kind presence dearly. Recalling the joy and compassion that Buffy brought to our hockey family is an essential component of the grieving process that we are going through as a group.
As we go through this period of grieving, we would want to extend an invitation to everyone to talk about their memories with one another and to provide support to one another. We ask that you remember Flechyr and his family in your prayers and thoughts over the holiday season.
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Best wishes for a restful night, Buffy. People that are passionate about hockey will always hold a special and irreplaceable place in their hearts for you.
