Natalie Pendlebury was a beloved colleague and previous parent, and we are sad to say that she has passed away. We announce this with heavy hearts and heartfelt grief. Leaving behind a legacy of warmth, passion, and creativity, Natalie died away the week before last, and we will always remember her. The only ones who will remember Natalie are her devoted husband Daniel and their baby Johnny (OGC 2022).
In this time of shared grief over her sudden death, we would like her loved ones to know that they have our undying support and that we will be there for them no matter what. Natalie had an integral role in our community as a result of her prominence on our Performing Arts staff. Her passion for the arts shone through in the meticulous detail with which she crafted costumes and props for numerous events, including the Year 8 Production, the Senior School Production, and innumerable more plays and performances.
The students at our school came to know and love Natalie for her boundless enthusiasm and talent in the arts. The wide variety of cultural events hosted by our institution is forever changed by her influence. On Wednesday, December 27th, at 10:00 AM, a memorial service will be held to celebrate Natalie’s life. On this sad occasion, we would like to invite everyone who knew Natalie—her friends, coworkers, and family—to come and pay their respects with us.
We are keeping Natalie’s loved ones in our prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. May the comfort and strength they seek be bestowed on them by the cherished memories of their time together. We are all saddened by the loss of Natalie, but we should not let our sorrow overshadow our joy at the profound impact she had on our lives and the lives of those around her.
Her legacy will live on via the positive impact she had on our community and the many lives she touched. Natalie’s life was full of joy and love, and her legacy will serve as a constant reminder that she will be missed. Those lucky enough to have known and loved her may find comfort in her lasting legacy when she passes away.
