Our hearts are heavy as we share the news of the departure of Rita M. Allin, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who departed this world on December 17, 2023, at the age of 68. Her passing is something that we announce with heavy hearts.
The Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, was the location where Rita passed away. She was surrounded by her immediate family and friends.
With her warmth, kindness, and unflinching love, Rita spent her entire life touching the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be in her presence. She was born on October 18, 1955. In addition to being a treasured friend to a great number of people in the Watrous District, she was a rock of support for her family. Family members, including her dedicated husband, her loving children, and her grandkids, will carry the memories of Rita with them for the rest of their lives.
Her legacy will continue to be carried on by the innumerable people whose lives she has changed and the love that she has transmitted. In June of 2024, a Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Rita.
During this event, friends and family will get together to remember the wonderful times they spent with her and to find comfort in the company of one another. Over the next few months, specifics regarding the event will be disseminated.
Instead of sending flowers, the family would appreciate it if memorial contributions could be made to Manitou Lodge, which was a cause that was very important to Rita. It is possible to make donations over the Internet, and the family is grateful for any assistance that may be provided to continue Rita’s dedication to the causes that were important to her.
