Rebecca Stroup Obituary, Rest In Eternal Heaven Rebecca Stroup

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Rebecca Lou Stroup, affectionately known as Becky, at the age of 81, on Thursday, December 7, 2023. A devoted Christian, Becky’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith and commitment to serving others. Her legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Rebecca is survived by her brother, Robert (Diane) Stroup, and leaves behind a loving family, including her niece Allison Stroup, nephew Chad (Jennifer) Stroup, and great nieces and nephews: Courtney, Carson (Michel), Camden, Ava, and Max. She also leaves behind many beloved cousins who shared in her journey of faith and compassion.

Becky’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Life Sanctuary Church, 1640 W 93rd Ave., Merrillville, IN 46410. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.

A final farewell will be held on Monday, December 18, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson, IN, with a short service in the Cemetery Chapel at 12:00 PM. In honor of Becky’s memory, the family kindly requests that, instead of flowers, donations be made to Life Sanctuary Church in Merrillville.
