The death of Patricia Ann Hardy, who was 82 years old, occurred suddenly at her residence in Springfield, Vermont, on the 12th of December, 2023. She was the daughter of Harvey S. and Sarah P. (Chase) Snide and was born on September 6, 1941 in Springfield, Vermont.
His parents were named Chase. She received her education in Springfield, eventually graduating from Springfield High School with the class of 1958.
Patricia spent several years working in the food and beverage industry, including her time spent as the Food and Beverage Manager at the Naples Bath & Tennis Club and the Royal Wood Golf and Country Club in Naples, Florida. Both of these clubs are located in the state of Florida. Patricia placed a considerable amount of importance on her family, and she cherished the time she got to spend with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind two daughters, Christi O’Brien and Bonny Wood, three granddaughters, Casey, Randi, and Ashley, and four great-grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Finnigan, and Jameson. She is also survived by her husband, Jameson. In addition, she is survived by a number of stepchildren, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, and relatives. Her parents, her son Bruce Stewart, and her siblings Paul Snide, Robert Snide, Larry Snide, and Dorothy Stearns all passed away before she did.
She was the only child raised by her parents. On Monday evening, December 18, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at the Davis Memorial Chapel located in Springfield.
At eleven o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, there will be a funeral service held at the Davis Memorial Chapel. The Reverend Gerry Piper will preside over the ceremony.
A burial service is scheduled to take place in the spring of 2024 at the Pleasantview Cemetery located in Chester, Vermont. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you send a contribution to the charity of your choice in Patricia’s name.
