It is with heavy hearts that the community of Fitzwilliam mourns the unexpected passing of Jesse W. Russell, a beloved resident who left this world on December 9, 2023, surrounded by the love of his wife. Jesse, 38, was born to the late Sherry (Harris) and Donald W. Russell on June 16, 1985, in Keene, and his departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
Jesse’s journey through life was marked by a commitment to family, education, and meaningful work. He attended local schools and proudly graduated from Monadnock Regional High School in 2003, laying the foundation for a life of dedication and service to those around him.
On October 1, 2022, Jesse exchanged vows with the love of his life, Erin A. Powell, in a simple yet heartfelt ceremony centered around their devotion to God. Surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated the union of two souls committed to a life of love and companionship.
Professionally, Jesse found fulfillment in his role as a buyer for C and S Wholesale of Keene. Prior to this, he dedicated 21 years of service to Shaw’s Supermarkets in Peterborough, where he served as the produce manager. His work ethic and dedication were evident throughout his career.
Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Erin Russell, and their five children—Lucas Proctor, Gavin Russell, Lilah Proctor, Landon Russell, and their new baby Scarlett Russell, all of Fitzwilliam. Additionally, he leaves behind a half-sibling, Daniel Linsky of Swanzey, and is fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
