Ed Brooks Obituary, A Cherished Soul Has Passed Away

It is with profound sadness that the Mastic Fire Department shares the heartbreaking news of the passing of our esteemed Department Chaplain, Life Member, and Fire District Treasurer, Ed Brooks. Ed has answered his last alarm, leaving behind a legacy of dedicated service, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the fire service community.

Ed Brooks, a pillar of our department, has played a pivotal role as Chaplain, providing spiritual guidance and support to our members in times of both joy and sorrow.

His life membership attests to the countless hours of selfless service and the deep sense of camaraderie he fostered within our firefighting family.

As the Fire District Treasurer, Ed exemplified professionalism and dedication in managing the financial affairs of our department. His meticulous approach and steadfast commitment ensured the effective functioning of our organization.
