The passing of Dale E. Hoover, who was 69 years old at the time of his death, took place at UPMC Lititz General Hospital on the first Friday in April of 2023. Lititz was his hometown, and he considered it his home. Elizabeth (Horst) Hoover, his mother, resided in Ephrata, and his father, Titus Hoover, had passed away. His mother was named Elizabeth. He took his father’s name as his very own. It is in the town of Lititz where he started his life. On April 6, 2023, he and his cherished wife, Vera (Brubaker) Hoover, celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.
He thanked her for her support throughout the years. The year 2023 was the time when this incident took place. Dale was a member of the Mennonite congregation in Pleasant Valley at that time period, and he was a regular attendee with the congregation. Truck driving was one of the vocations that he enjoyed doing very much, and more recently, he also worked in the delivery of vehicle parts.
He was successful in both of these endeavours. One of the things that provided him a great deal of pleasure was engaging in talks with individuals and acquiring an understanding of the lives that they experienced.
The disappearance of this person will leave his family and friends with a significant vacuum that will be difficult to fill. In addition to his wife and his mother, his thirteen children, all of whom were his heart and soul, are among the individuals who will carry on his legacy after he has passed away.
When he looked at each and every one of his children, he was filled with an overpowering sense of pride and triumph. This award is being presented to Lisa Horst, who lives in Leola; Sharon Hoover, who lives in Ephrata; and Janell Groff, who is the wife of Calvin Groff and lives in Bird-in-Hand.
