Bob Fournier Obituary, NS Dalhousie University Halifax Student Has Sadly Passed Away

By the time the 12th of November in the year 2023 arrived, Robert E. Fournier had already reached the age of 93 from the time he was born. He was exactly 93 years old at the time of his death. Both of his parents, John and Aldea Fournier, had passed away prior to his birth, and he was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts, on May 9, 1930. His parents had both perished away after their birth.

There are currently no children in his parents’ family at this moment. Robert treasured the opportunity to spend time with his many friends who were regulars at the Agawam Senior Centre. Robert had lived his entire life in Agawam, and he felt that this was an important opportunity. For the remainder of his life, Robert settled down in Agawam as a permanent resident. The sport of pool was one in which he excelled, and he was regularly seen teaching people how to play the game in order to assist them in improving their skills.

He was a very good instructor. His wife, Laurea (Gelineau), had already departed from this world not too much longer before he eventually passed away. His only surviving family members are his daughter Joy Wheeler, who is in Agawam, and his son Glen Fournier, who resides in the state of Michigan. Both of these individuals are the only members of his family and family to survive him.

In their respective locations, each of these individuals continue to remain still. His grandchildren, Kimberly Wheeler and Krista Marshall, as well as his great-grandson, James Marshall, will be left behind after he departs. He also has a great-grandson named James Marshall. All of them will miss him very much due to his absence. Private funeral arrangements for Robert have been entrusted to Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, which has been given the responsibility of ensuring that these ceremonies are held at a separate location.

As a result of this commitment, they are in a position to safeguard Robert’s right to private. Bob Fournier, who had been battling cancer for a considerable period of time, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the General Hospital. He had done so for a significant amount of time. At the time of his passing, he had reached the age of 77 years. There had been a considerable length of time that had passed since he had been declared to be suffering from the disease.

We would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences to everyone who knew and loved him and who has lately passed away. This is on behalf of the family. The fact that he is Kathy’s spouse is one of the reasons why Kathy holds him in such high esteem. The fact that Jean-Pierre, Mitch (Andie), and Julie (Christian Doucet) have a father who is so kind is a substantial reason for the three of them to feel an overwhelming sense of appreciation.

His grandchildren are Allie, Dylan, Mackenzie, and Grace, and he is overjoyed to be able to be their grandfather. He is filled to the mouth with joy at the prospect of becoming their grandfather. In addition to being the beloved brother of Louise, he was also the grandfather of Craig (Nancy) and the uncle to a huge number of other nieces and nephews. He is also referred to as “Uncle Craig.” Additionally, in addition to becoming a member of the extended family.

Bob remained active in the insurance industry, he was a passionate angler, and he had been a member of the Ottawa-Vanier Lions Club since the year 1972. He maintained his involvement in the insurance field. In addition to that, he continued to keep his job as an agent in the insurance market. Only Bob’s long-standing membership in the club, which he had been a part of for a very long time, could compare to the unwavering commitment that he had shown to his family over the course of his whole life.
