At the age of 88, Darlene May Larson, who was born on October 5, 1935, left this life with dignity on Monday, December 11, 2023. She grew up with three siblings and was the firstborn child of Erby and Paulene Phillips.
She left a lasting impression on everyone who came into contact with her. At the Frog Pond Country School, Darlene started her scholastic journey and established the groundwork for a lifetime of study.
Later, she pursued her education in the quaint hamlet of Argonia in middle school and high school, where she surely made lifelong friends and treasured experiences. Darlene was a living example of compassion, resiliency, and a strong sense of community across her 88 years.
Her kind disposition and warm attitude had a lasting impression on many people, creating a legacy that will never fade. Darlene was a well-liked member of her community who actively promoted harmony and support by looking out for the welfare of others.
