Christopher Bragg Obituary, Bartow FL, Motocross Racer Has Died

The motocross community, along with Chris Bragg’s family, are surprised and grieved by his unexpected departure. Chris quietly left the motocross tracks on December 10, 2023, when he was in his thirties and abruptly passed away. Chris was a gifted motocross racer from Bartow, Florida. He loved competing and was very committed to his work.

His prior experience working as a fusion tech at Global Pump and his sales skills at Synergy Equipment and United Rental Pump Solutions were both great assets. Chris’s attendance at Bartow High School had a significant impact on his future academic and professional performance.

Sadly, on Christmas morning of 2023, motocross fans at the Orlando MX Park track lost a loved one. Chris was riding his motocross, number 88, when he was involved in a fatal accident during the day’s racing.

Now that #88 is gone from the track, there’s a somber silence that has left the motocross community in grief. Even though rescue services arrived quickly, the abrupt end of the day’s activities revealed the seriousness of the situation. The motocross community has been deeply affected by the terrible death of a talented racer.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up by Phillip Whitehead, one of Chris’s closest friends, to assist the family in getting through this tragic loss. Reducing the financial burden associated with covering expenses for funerals, medical bills, electricity bills, and other necessities is the goal.

Please make the donation to Chris’s wife, Brandy Bragg, if that is how you would like it to go. We are currently organizing the funeral, and within the next week, everyone will receive information about the details.

Phillip Whitehead says that Chris has a profound impact on people’s life and that he is both a mentor and a second father to him. Those who had the good fortune to know Chris will never forget him as a beacon of hope.

As they mourn his departure, Chris Bragg’s mother, Sonya Garner, his wife, Brandy, and their children, Bailey and Kiley, are in our thoughts and prayers. May the resounding support from the community provide some solace during this trying time.
