Tully Salter Obituary, Tully Salter Has Died

I was devastated to learn last night of Tully William Salter’s unexpected death. For those of you who don’t know, after I lost Joel in 2014, Tully became an amazing friend and helped me process my grief.

Above all, though, Tully gave me our baby, Jaxton Rex—the most exquisite, priceless gift from God. We were just friends at the time, and we both realized we had different goals for our lives, so I have kept this aspect of my life quiet. We also decided that I would be Jax’s only caregiver.

We have always been friends, but it wasn’t until recently that we got back in touch. He reached out, wanting to be involved in Jaxton’s life, thanking me for raising such a perfect little boy and for changing his lifestyle to be a better dad for him and his other children.

We kept in daily and weekly contact to get Jaxton ready to meet his biological father when the time was right, but he will never get the chance to meet you in person even though he is a blonde little replica of you. To the kind, gregarious, extroverted, cheerful, crazy, party animal, obnoxious, and humorous person you were.

Even the people who disagreed with your antics will miss you terribly since you were always a source of happiness and laughter wherever you went. And I will always be appreciative of that. May God bless and protect you  such a detriment. – I’m not sure how, when, or how else to tell Jaxton about this news at this time.

Therefore, if you speak with Jax, please don’t bring up anything. My mind is racing, trying to figure out how to be honest with him but still allowing his small brain to process information securely.
