We share the news of Mrs. Kim Erwin’s demise, a cherished educator who spent many years gracing the hallways of East Carter, with great grief. Many kids will always remember her because of her relentless commitment to education, which made her a beloved member of our school community. Mrs. Erwin’s influence went well beyond the classroom; she served as a mentor and inspiration to her friends, coworkers, and students alike.
Her kindness, understanding, and dedication to encouraging a love of learning produced a climate in which kids flourished intellectually as well as emotionally. Our condolences and prayers are sent to Mrs. Erwin’s family and friends during this trying time as we cope with this devastating loss. Everyone who had the honor of knowing her will feel a great loss in her absence. On Sunday, December 10, services will be conducted at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Garrison, KY, to commemorate the life and legacy of Mrs. Erwin.
From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, people who knew her will have a chance to pay their respects and share memories during the visiting. Following at 1:00 pm will be the funeral ceremony, which will provide an opportunity for introspection and a celebration of Mrs. Erwin’s influential life as a friend and educator.
