Mike Cramer Obituary, North Dakota Resident Has Died

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Michael J. Cramer, a beloved member of the Flanders community. Michael, aged 53, left us suddenly at his home on October 14, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a zest for life. Michael was born in Morristown to George (Jake) and Evelyn Cramer and attended Roxbury High School. A Flanders native, he spent his entire life in the community that he held dear to his heart. As we mourn his departure, we reflect on the vibrant life he lived and the indelible impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him.

A family man through and through, Michael is survived by his loving mother, Evelyn Cramer of Flanders, and a cadre of siblings: Linda D’Addario of Morristown, Patricia Purtell of Florham Park, Sandra Cittadino (Edward) of Blairstown, George C. Cramer III (Sherry) of Green Township, Sheryl Santangelo (Ernest) of Whippany, and Lance Cramer of Scotrun, PA. Michael’s memory lives on through the many nieces and nephews who were touched by his presence.

Tragically, Michael was preceded in death by his father, George C. Cramer, Jr., his brother Charles (Chuck) Cramer, and his niece Christa Cittadino. Their memories, along with Michael’s, will forever be cherished by the family and community he enriched. In the tight-knit community of Flanders, Michael was a familiar face and a pillar of support for many. His passion for the outdoors and love for fishing were well-known, as he often found solace and joy in nature. Beyond his outdoor pursuits, Michael was a music enthusiast who relished attending concerts and sharing the experience with friends and family.

Among his many talents, Michael was renowned for his bicycle repair skills, earning him the affectionate moniker “Mike’s Bikes.” He was a go-to person for anyone in need of bike expertise, and his willingness to lend a helping hand showcased the generous spirit that defined him. A little-known facet of Michael’s life was his prowess in the kitchen. Those close to him were treated to the delights of his baking skills, with his cheesecake standing out as a perennial favorite. His ability to create not only strong bonds but also delectable treats endeared him to many.

As we navigate through the grief of losing such a remarkable individual, let us remember Michael J. Cramer for the joy he brought into our lives, the laughter he shared, and the love he generously gave. In the collective memory of the Flanders community, his spirit will live on, a testament to a life well-lived and deeply cherished.
