I say goodbye to my best friend Jamie Stroud, who has been a vital part of my life from the start, with heavy heart and deep grief. Jamie, you were more than just a friend—you were my brother, my confidant, and the one thing that was always there and defined who I was. Words cannot express the irreplaceable vacuum you have left behind. We laughed together, wecried together, and experienced a plethora of experiences that life has to offer.
Jamie, every time we spent together was a priceless gift because of your steadfast support and contagious enthusiasm for life. Even though it hurts to admit that you are no longer among us, I take comfort in the fact that your hardships are over.
Though I sincerely hope I could have showed you the good things in life, I recognize that the weight of your responsibilities was too much for you to handle.
