Izella Jim, a beloved resident of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023, at the age of 74. Born on October 17, 1949, to Willie and Jessie T. Jim, Izella leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a lifetime of cherished memories.
The community will come together to pay their respects at the viewing services scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Hawker Funeral Home, located at 132 S. Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot, Idaho, beginning at 1 p.m.
Friends, family, and well-wishers are invited to gather to celebrate Izella’s life and offer support to one another during this difficult time.
Following the services, Izella will be taken to Audrey Jim’s residence on Cutshalts Extension and Philbin, where she will rest until the burial. On Monday, December 11, 2023, at noon, a solemn procession will escort her to her final resting place at Lincoln Creek Cemetery in Lincoln Creek, Idaho.
A unique and heartfelt invitation has been extended to all men in the community to participate in a meaningful way by joining in the effort to dig the grave on Monday morning.
Izella Jim’s departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her memory will live on through the stories and shared moments that shaped the vibrant tapestry of her life. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and fond memories she cultivated throughout her remarkable journey.
