Beatriz Trippy died on December 6 at 1:22 PM, leaving the world without a brilliant light. She passed away at the age of 44, leaving a legacy of courage, love, and kindness. Beatriz’s family, friends, and the community were in grief when she passed away due to complications from a stroke after undergoing brain surgery. For those closest to Beatriz, the outpouring of support from so many people has been a comfort in the face of this tremendous loss.
We really appreciate all of the compassion and understanding shown at this trying time. A consoling verse from Philippians 3:20–21 speaks to us as we work through the sadness that follows such a heartbreaking departure: “But our citizenship is in heaven.
And we joyfully anticipate a Savior from that place, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will change our humble bodies into something like his beautiful body by using the power that gives him authority over everything.”
Reminding us that Beatriz’s soul has found its way to an everlasting state of peace, these words are consoling. While we lament her departure, we also take solace in the knowledge that one day we shall be reunited with her in a place where suffering and loss are nonexistent.
For those who knew and loved Beatriz Trippy, her memory endures. As we honor her life, let’s treasure the times we spent with and take comfort in the knowledge that she is moving on in a world where happiness has no limits.
