It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Varghese Pattara, affectionately known as Joychan, on December 6th, 2023, at 3:15 PM. Joychan was a cherished and long-standing member of the QMA (Quainton Memorial Association), and his departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Joychan’s active presence within the QMA community was a source of inspiration for many.
His dedication, warmth, and unwavering commitment to the betterment of the association were truly commendable. He leaves behind a legacy of camaraderie and shared experiences that will forever be remembered by those whose lives he touched.
Survived by his loving wife, Thressiama Pattara, and their devoted sons Alex, Mathew, and George, Joychan’s family was the center of his world. Daughter-in-laws Jamie and Sonia, as well as grandchildren Andy, Lauren, and Chris, were his pride and joy.
Joychan’s impact extended beyond family, as he built lasting relationships within the QMA, making him an integral part of the community. Details for the visitation (wake) and funeral will be announced soon, providing an opportunity for friends, family, and QMA members to come together to celebrate Joychan’s life, share memories, and offer support to one another during this difficult time.
