On December 4, 2023, TAMMY McCOY, who was fifty years old and from Huntington, was granted her wings. On Friday, December 8, 2023, at two o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services will be held at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel in Barboursville.
Pastor Ronnie Stewart will preside over the ceremony. An interment will take place at Baylous Cemetery. She was born on April 15, 1973 in Huntington, West Virginia, and her parents, Jack Stewart and Gladys Evelyn Burgess Stewart,
both passed away before her birth. Both her sister, Terry Barber, and her niece, Whitney Senae Stewart, passed away before she did.
Her husband, Leon McCoy, her son, Noah Timothy Don McCoy, her sister Michelle Stewart Gaulds, her twin brother Tim Stewart, her niece Julie Jackson (Gary), her nephew Elijah Stewart, her stepmother Debbie Stewart, and three special friends, Jackie Foster, Rhonda Carter, and Melissa Miller, are among those who are able to carry on her legacy.
Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville will be open for visitation on Friday from one to two o’clock in the afternoon. Condolences can be sent to the family at the website www.timeformemory.com/wallace when they are expressed online. It is because of her devotion to Jesus and her family that Tammy will be remembered.
She had an impact on every person she came in contact with, and she never came across a stranger. There are a lot of people who will miss her dearly since she is now singing and dancing in ways that she was never able to do before.
